Post-Shrink Screenshots

As mentioned in the previous post, we shrank the island a bit. Here is what things look like now.

They may not look tremendously different from this off-island vantage point, but when you are down there moving around, the difference is substantial. I feel a lot better about the layout now.

    Looks great.
I wonder how reducing the open spaces will affect the ‘loneliness feeling’.

It definitely looks more compact. Do you anticipate any more modifications to the arrangement of the island before release?

The coloring of that area near the camera has become much darker….

On a side note, what ever happened to the puzzle counts? Has the number of puzzles become too stable to be interesting?

It’s a mixture of not adding puzzles for a while, but also having it be harder to count puzzles, as we sometimes temporarily have duplicates of some puzzles in the world while we are cloning / editing areas, and have to remember to take those out.

I’ll do another puzzle count soon though. We did just add a significant number.

It may just be because I read your last post about what you were up to here, but it really is looking very tight. It looks like it will be a joy to explore.

Will have to play it first to know the inner difference :)

Can’t see much difference from this point. It is good to have minimal pointless wandering while playing the game though.

What about the music of the game Jonathan ?

I believe Jonathan already stated that the game wouldn’t have any music. Correct me if I’m mistaken.
