Same problem here, subs no longer visible. Old fat PS4 so no modes to talk about.

Anyway: great game and one of the few that will stay with me my whole life.
Yea subtitles don’t seem to work in any of the pro modes. (1440p for sure)
English subtitles are currently broken; other languages work. We’re going to patch it but we don’t want to rush the patch out and accidentally break something!
Thank you for your work on the Pro patch and for releasing it this quickly! And thank you for implementing the different display modes, because now I can _see_ what the difference between these is and select the one that _I_ like best.
Hello, I am seeing severe color banding issues with HDR on, particularly when looking back down the stair in the very beginning of the game. TV is set-up properly for HDR.

Yep, we have heard reports of this happening on some TVs and are looking into it.

I am having the same issue on a samsung ks8000.
The banding seems to be caused by the upscaler. Switching it off or setting the TV and/or AV reciever to game mode eliminates the problem.
I am playing in 4K with Game mode enabled, I have no problem with other HDR games.
How long will it be before the iOS patch is finished?
Does PS4 pro output 1440p on 1440p monitors?
Great to see the care and support of the game on PS4, especially with bringing new features.
Out of curiosity, should Xbox One players be looking forward to an HDR update as well?

I really want to play The Witness so badly
But I cannot deny the fact that I’m a physical lover//collector
So it would piss me off to buy it on digital for PS4
Only to find out a physical version is in the works, cause I wouldn’t mind to wait till a hypothetical release
So, there goes my question, any plans, you can share or I should go and grab it now that the game is on sale on the PS Store??
I’ve seen you’re used to answering the community and fans through the comments sections which I really appreciate and value

What I’m afraid if some kind of response like: You can’t confirm anything at the moment, then I buy the game digitally just to find out a Physical edition has been announced due to release in the following moths
